Unofficial Fan Guide

Inventory & Reloading

Iron Blight uses a limited diegetic grid inventory. Magazine checks and reloading are deliberate actions, while some ammo information appears contextually instead of as a permanent counter.

How the Grid Inventory Works

Official materials describe a diegetic grid inventory with limited space, so every pickup is a carry-or-leave choice.

The recording opens that grid and selects a Jerry Can. A right-hand item card describes a fuel container and a Use action. That frame is evidence of the interface, not a complete item list or a hidden capacity rule.

Reading Item Information

Item cards in that recording show a name, a short use description, and a Use action. Read the card in front of you.

This page does not publish a catalog, stacking rules, or every Use outcome.

Manual Magazine Checks

Steam copy states that weapons require manual magazine checks. Remaining rounds are inspected in the magazine instead of trusted to a permanent on-screen counter.

This page does not document animation frames or a single check input for every gun.

Contextual Ammo Information

No permanent ammo counter does not mean the game never shows ammunition. The recording briefly shows “14 spare ammo left” and later “11 spare ammo left,” with a red edge effect on the later prompt.

A selected SR-3M card shows “Loaded Ammo: 21.” Those strings are interface examples from that session, not a weapon ranking or a hidden stat sheet.

Reload Risk and Defensive Actions

Reloading is a deliberate, step-by-step action in the official description. The recording shows a tutorial prompt that a kick is available during reload to push a mutant back.

Treat that as a version-specific on-screen hint, not a confirmed control for every weapon or build.

Unknown Controls and Weapon Differences

Key bindings, exact grid size, a full weapon list, and hidden numeric stats are not officially confirmed here.

Do not assume every firearm shares the SR-3M card or the kick prompt seen in that recording.
